There's Nothing Like a Daughter to Love...Except Maybe Three!

My life with three daughters, five, three and one.

Welcome to my blog!

Hi and welcome! My name is Kristine, but I'm better known as Kris or just mommy. I've been married to my fabulous hubby, Kevin, for six years and we have three incredible daughters, Rylee (6), Madeline (4) and Charlotte (21 months). As you can probably tell, the next best things to my children are my Nikons. I love photography although I don't claim to be great or even good...I just like to do it. Nuff said!

A little snippet about moi...I'm a breastfeeding, cloth diapering, baby-wearing, camera-toting, Gap-shopping, headband obsessed, always researching, forever learning, semi-crunchy, stay-at-home mom turned full time business owner trying to balance it all and wouldn't have it any other way. Hope you enjoy a peek into my daily life!

Happy Birthday, Rylee!

January 4th means two things. It's Rylee's birthday and I will be having Chinese for dinner. Ha!

Rylee is six and it's pretty unbelievable. She's moved on from the preschool ages and is officially a big kid. She's always looked the part but now her age matches a little better. It's been quite the year, turns out five is a trying age. We all made it through in one piece and hopefully six holds lots of calmness and good behavior who am I kidding, anyway?

Rylee's day started off with good ole Kindergarten. She took pink frosted cupcakes to school and said the whole class sang to her. Afterwards, I picked her up and we hit up TH for the biggest slushy ever...coke/mt.dew/strawberry mixed. Don't ask! Once we got home, she got to open her gifts which I just stuffed in her new backpack unwrapped since I ran out of paper and didn't feel like buying any and then choose her birthday dinner. No surprise, it was Chinese! After dinner she enjoyed some icecream cake and a little kinect Alvin and the Chipmunk dancing. She's tucked into bed playing with her new gadget. Happy birthday, Ry!!
